Design and Use
H2-R comes with a double head strap across and around your head for extra comfort. The torch is situated in the front, and its power block is placed on the opposite side of the headband. They are connected by a wire, which might not be the most convenient design. The power block can be directly charged with a micro-USB plug, so you don’t need to worry about replaceable batteries. And the battery will last you up to 14 hours with a single charge! On top of that, it is super easy to use, with manual tilting and beam focus.

Elwis H2-R is the most expensive device on this list, so you would expect a bit more from a device for such a price. However, it only features two light intensity modes and overall lacks the features other head torches on this list can offer. Thus, we couldn’t give it a better ranking than 4th place. It is bright, aircraft-grade durable, and waterproof, which are great features for a head torch to have. So, if you think you might be dropping your head torch a lot, definitely check Elwis H2-R out. If not, then you could save money and get a more feature-packed device like Brillumex (which is also highly durable, by the way).
