Canary View
Main features
Coming last is another great camera—Canary View. It is a rather pricy device compared to the top 3 of this list, and unfortunately, most of its features are now accessible only after paying the subscription fee. Without the subscription, you can only watch the footage live, get notifications, and use the two-way audio feature. After the subscription, you can access such features as notifications with preview footage, person detection, history and downloading of footage, desktop streaming, and more. Canary View doesn’t tilt or rotate, but it has a 147° wide-angle lens.
Ease of use
Just like other cameras, this one is also not too complicated to figure out. At first, you need to plug it into a power source, connect it to Wi-Fi, and download the app. And you can start using the Basic Service (like watching your home live) straight away. If you want to access the extra features, you should subscribe to Canary Premium Service. The app is easy to navigate, but if you choose not to pay the subscription, there won't be much to operate anyway.
🐶 Value
Canary View is an excellent quality indoor camera for pets. However, it isn’t the cheapest, and on top of that, most of the features are only accessible after paying for the Premium subscription. If the other devices on this list don’t meet your expectations and you don’t mind paying extra for Premium Service, you should definitely give the Canary View a closer look. But if you want more features for a better price, then the top devices on our list are where you should be looking.
